About Accommodations

  1. We suggest the best hotels in each category based on the experiences of our guests.
  1. Any star category mentioned in the website of Jet Set Quest or by our destination guides are indicative of that particular region. What can be considered a 5-star property in one destination can be a 4-star in a different destination based on the remoteness and availability of resources.
  1. The accommodation mentioned at the initiation of a booking is only suggestive and can change based on availability at the time of final booking. We will strive to provide accommodations of similar category. In case you want a higher category of accommodation, the rate will change accordingly.
  1. Valid ID proof is required for all guests planning to stay at accommodations. The accommodation’s in-house policies will apply to all guests.
  1. Extra bed may mean either an extra folding bed or just a simple mattress, depending on the accommodation policy. Please confirm with our destination guide.
  1. Th maximum number of guests allowed in a room depends on the accommodation’s policy. Please confirm with our destination guide.
  1. During peak dates, accommodation availability can change very quickly. During these circumstances we reserve the right to change or re- arrange the itinerary to suit accommodations’ availability as per chosen package.
  1. If due to unforeseen circumstances, after a booking is confirmed, the accommodation cancels the booking, we reserve the right to change the accommodation, with prior intimation, to a similar category accommodation. If the accommodation provided is of a lower category, then the guest would be refunded the difference in the rate. If the accommodation provided is of a higher category, then the guest will have to pay the difference in the rate.

About Child Policy

  1. A child below 5 or 6 years is generally complimentary but it may differ in different accommodations.
  1. Child between 5 to 10 years have 2 choices for beds – ‘Child without Bed’ or ‘Child with Bed’. Only food charges will be applicable in the former case, while both food charges and extra bed charges will be applicable in the latter case.
  1. Child above 12 years (in some cases 10 years) is considered as an adult and thus will be charged as an extra person sharing the room.
  1. Accommodations are very strict with the child policy. Don’t forget to carry age proof of the child.

About Transport

  1. We do not recommend to exceed the maximum carrying capacity of a vehicle. It’s dangerous and uncomfortable.
  1. Many regions don’t allow luggage carriers on top of the vehicle. Please be mindful of the amount of luggage you carry so that it doesn’t hamper comfort.
  1. Please check your baggage before leaving the vehicle.
  1. The vehicles we use are well maintained and are checked before the beginning of every trip. However, due to unforeseen circumstances and the nature of mechanics and electronics, breakdowns do occur at times. In case of a breakdown, alternate arrangements will be provided depending on the location of the vehicle from the nearest service centre or the nearest taxi hub.
  1. The vehicle provided should be used as per itinerary and will be on point to point basis and is not at disposal, unless specifically mentioned otherwise.
  1. If arrival of guest is at an airport/ railway station, our driver will meet the guest at the exit gates. A driver will not double up as a porter.
  1. We work with local drivers in each destinations. They are welcoming and have very good knowledge about the destination. Please be polite to them. Sometimes they may not be able to converse very well in the language of your choice. Please be patient with them.
  1. Different drivers may be allotted during different days of your tour depending on the region and for an effective logistics.
  1. In major sightseeing areas parking space is minimal or may not exist at all.  In these cases, our drivers park at different places near the area or at a designated parking spot that is a little away from the sightseeing location. Guests might need to wait after the sightseeing for our drivers to pick them or walk a in case the vehicle can’t get close enough.
  1. No changes in the itinerary is allowed during the trip. Guest must contact the destination guide for any requests for change. For your safety and to ensure service quality, please do not make any personal arrangements with the driver. 
  1. There are timings recommended for the sightseeing and activities during the trip. Any deviance from the schedule may lead to an incomplete trip. Please refrain from such deviations.
  1. For better manoeuvring, the air-conditioner is usually turned off in hilly areas. It relieves pressure on the engine. We suggest that you compel the driver to switch it on unless he/she suggests otherwise.  

About Telephone and Internet Connectivity

  1. Carrying Postpaid connections are highly recommended in remote hilly areas.
  1. Free-wifi is not available in all accommodations. Please confirm with our destination guide

About Communication

  1. Guests will be assigned a Destination Guide and/or Manager for their holiday.  All communications must be made through official channel only. Jet Set Quest will not be held liable for additional requests not being fulfilled on account of any communication made outside of the official communication channels.
  1. Escalation of any concerns or complaints must be made to the Destination Manager. We will take measures to ensure a smooth holiday.
  1. Please do not make any payments to accounts other than the company account. Jet Set Quest will be in no position to honour such transactions.
